Tamagi Kathmandu Vela 2009

Tamagians living in Kathmandu organised their first ever vela at Oasis Restaurant, Basundhara, Ring Road on Sunday 26th of July 2009.   Mr Vikram Gurung had come all the way from Hong Kong to brief Kathmandu about Tamagi Stone Village Resort.  Captain Hombahadur Gurung was also present to highlight the importance of building an Ancestral Flower Garden (Pitri Phul Bagaicha) near "Baraha Than" in an area above "Ghase Chautari" in memory of our ancestors. 

As can be seen from the photographs below the vela was very much a family gathering enjoyed by everybody present in a cordial family atmosphere.  Full reports to follow.
